Adventures of Pete & Pete - Season 1 DVD review

I did a pretty damn good job with this review back in ‘05, probably better than what the set deserves.

It’s a shame Nick didn’t bother with their ‘rewind’ sets and release EVERYTHING from their vault on DVD.   But I guess the sets they did release (like Pete & Pete) didn’t sell very well.

It’s nice to see some of the nostalgic shows from that era, finally get some air time on TV (Teen Nick during their 90s is All That slot).  I catch some old shows I was into then whenever I get a chance to watch the 90s is All That.   And as I am watching these type of shows, I often wonder, ‘why did I even like this show to begin with?!’

I tried to request Hey Dude from MovieFreak once it did finally hit DVD a couple of years ago, but no dice.  That’s okay, I am sure the review would have been negative (but back in the early 90s, it was the greatest show ever!!!111)

I still have a soft-spot for Salute Your Shorts though.  :-x
